• Marcin M. He also holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Philosophy, with a minor in Multimedia Production, from Carnegie Mellon University. With a diverse 30-year legal career, he has served as General Counsel four times, including at Marketo, Inc., Sabre Corporation, and Travelocity.com, where he led international legal teams handling complex matters such as high-stakes litigation, M&A, IPOs, data privacy, and corporate governance. He began his career in private practice before moving in-house at American Airlines and later played a key role in major transactions, including Sabre’s IPO and the sale of Marketo to Adobe. In addition to his legal work, Sterling is a prolific author, speaker, and thought leader, widely recognized for his insights on legal operations, artificial intelligence, and the evolving role of in-house counsel.

He began his career as an associate at Gallop, Johnson, and Neuman and transitioned in-house at American Airlines in 1994. He later served as General Counsel at Travelocity.com, Sabre Corporation, and Marketo, Inc., where he managed global legal teams and oversaw major initiatives, including Sabre’s 2014 IPO and the sale of Marketo to Adobe in 2019.
