Adams and Reese Partner and Construction/Commercial Litigation Attorney Ashlee Poplin will lead a webinar on “Critical Insurance Issues for Contractors and Collections.” Ashlee will discuss the ins and outs of the Commercial General Liability (CGL) policy; what “coverage” means; first-party vs. third-party claims; and methods for collections where payments haven’t been received. Ashlee will also discuss important topics that impact the construction industry, such as managing changes in contracts and agreements, dealing with construction defects, and settling payment disputes.

Ashlee is licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Utah, and practices in all areas of construction law, along with commercial litigation, workplace safety, and OSHA. She serves as General Counsel for National Women in Roofing, and she is the communications chair on the Charlotte Council for National Women in Roofing. She is actively engaged with the Charlotte Chapter of National Association of Women in Construction. Ashlee is recognized among Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers. Ashlee earned her J.D. at Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. She received her B.A. with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
