Marcin M. Krieger | Reed Smith LLP

Marcin M. Krieger is counsel at Reed Smith LLP and a founding member of the firm’s Records & E-Discovery team, where he has practiced since joining in 2011 as an e-discovery attorney. With more than 15 years of experience in e-discovery law and a background in computer science, he brings a highly technical and practical approach to managing complex litigation data challenges. He advises case teams and clients on efficient and defensible strategies for large-scale document reviews, leveraging technology-assisted review and advanced e-discovery tools. Marcin is also actively involved in evaluating emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, and plays a key role in testing and assessing new tools for adoption within the firm.

Education & Credentials

  • Marcin M. Krieger earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2007, where he was a National Quarterfinalist in the Cardozo/BMI Entertainment and Communications Law Moot Court Competition. He also holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Philosophy, with a minor in Multimedia Production, from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a Relativity Certified Administrator and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

Sterling Miller is the Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel, and Senior Counsel at Hilgers PLLC, a nationwide law firm and the largest female-owned law firm in the United States. With a diverse 30-year legal career, he has served as General Counsel four times, including at Marketo, Inc., Sabre Corporation, and Travelocity.com, where he led international legal teams handling complex matters such as high-stakes litigation, M&A, IPOs, data privacy, and corporate governance. He began his career in private practice before moving in-house at American Airlines and later played a key role in major transactions, including Sabre’s IPO and the sale of Marketo to Adobe. In addition to his legal work, Sterling is a prolific author, speaker, and thought leader, widely recognized for his insights on legal operations, artificial intelligence, and the evolving role of in-house counsel.

  • Sterling Miller earned his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and Law Review, and holds a bachelor’s degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University, where he served as Student Body President.
